Best Damn Concert (but not really haha.)

steph and i reached a little late for the opening dance act and my poor hiding skills resulted in my bottle getting confiscated. damn. we got reshuffled to nearer seats... there weren't a lot of pple... but a lot of angmoh kids who really dressed up and were really into the whole thing. got angmoh parents bringing their kids too... and got middle-aged angmoh pple. but they were kinda out of place cos they just sat there the entire time regardless of the blasting music, the hype and atmosphere and all the screaming. i admire their zen-like abilities. steph got really excited about the light sticks. kept swinging it. we decided to pee cos the opening band act sucked big time. after they were done (like finally) we waited for like 1 hour plus before the whole thing actually began. diva lar. while waiting they played some background music and each time the song ended the kids began screaming, thinking that avril is gonna appear only to be silenced by the next song. but when the lights went out the screams were deafening... her concert was all right lar...there were songs that got us real high and we were half-screaming and half-singing though we cannot hear ourselves at all. can see she was quite out of breath and tired but she gave it her all and tried very hard and she didn't sing off-key which was considerably good. still, her being so bloody late is inexcusable. anyway, the bus ride home was... memorable. steph and i went across the road like 3 times only to go back to where we started. i was uber desperate to get out of the place... so much so that when the queue boarding the bus stopped right before our feet could touch the steps we totally pushed our way in. it's worse than 179. period. it's impossible for you to fall down in the bus simply beacause there's no space available for you to do so. anyway, steph and i made a stupid video and the pictures (of avril lavigne) are super blur so please visit grace's facebook album cos her pics are taken by her friend ros who brought the pro camera.

*correction: the photos in grace's facebook are taken by grace herself. sorry for the mix-up!
