2 more days and i'll be off to korea. and to think a few weeks back it felt like years away. we'll be packing tomorrow and i love packing! call me neurotic and obssessive-compulsive but i do love to pack. it feels therapeutic. i don't know how i can make it there without being shipped back as a block of ice... what with the temperatures there being something like negative 10. the only thing i'm excited about is going to Changi airport. the PROSPECT of going on a holiday is always more thrilling. we went to terminal 3 that day and man it's beautiful and mighty impressive. going to the airport always, always make me feel super proud of our country, like this is MY country and there ain't gonna be any other airport like this one in the world. i love changi airport.
oh the registration was something of a nightmare cos in the end our efforts of planning beforehand got washed down the drain. fortunately my brilliant friends managed to sort everything out and we got similar slots more or less. i do wonder if those people who got our desired slots have more than 10 fingers or faster reflexes than the average human being.
I heard from my mom that our tour group has 41 people. that's a whole bloody class in school. i do hope there aren't gonna be any inconsiderate idiots who make the entire group wait for them like they deserve to be waited upon.

Tomorrow is the date of registration for our subjects. everybody get ready- sit in front of your com with the internet up and running and your webpage at STARS. the arrow must be poised on the most important button in the world. may the best person get what he/she wants first. good luck.
it's been freezing cold the past few days. sure doesn't feel like we're in Singapore anymore. we had a full clique meet-up last friday at holland v's swensens. the pictures are on the way... oh and i rebonded my hair it's so freaking straight and flat i can't believe it. hopefully, the flat-head situation gets better soon. it's the most amazing thing- i can sleep anyhow, toss and turn like a fish on a chopping board and my hair is still ruler straight when i get up.
and in memory of 5 december- a day to remember:

we're all stars.

Yesterday was such a major suckfest. because it rained the whole time we were at Sentosa. hey on monday and tuesday the weather was like in june and it just HAD to turn december on wednesday. Terri, Grace and I practically wasted our day doing next to nothing. they played ball for a while and i sat on Grace's mat with an umbrella overhead to watch them. at the same time, i was treating my butt to some, oh i don't know, sandwater therapy, i think. i was so bloody PISSED!!! pissed that it had to rain continuously, pissed that we were cold and drenched, pissed that this trip was totally ruined and wasted. SIGH. so much for going to Sen-bloody-tosa. the only good things that came out of it were: 1. i finally got to see Grace and 2. i bought a pair of vintage sunglasses from forever 21 for 11 bucks. anyway, when we were in the toilet something embarrassing and funny happened. Grace and i were at the sink and we thought the ball on the ground was ours. then some girl went to just kick it into the plants outside. Grace was like, "hey!" then she went to get it and she gave the girl a "why the hell did you do that" look. and the girl gave Grace a "what the hell are you doing" look. Grace still went to wash the ball like it was ours until one of the girls said," Excuse me that's our ball". Grace and i were like, "huh? if that's theirs then where's ours?" and we realised that Terri had it. we both thought each other took it out with us after we bathed but all the time it was with Terri who, at that moment, was still in the cubicle. so Grace went to apologise to the girl and all that and we were laughing though it was quite embarrassing.
it's like the skies have constipation. after days of dryness it finally has to let out all that water. there's nothing like a cold rainy day in Sentosa to remind one of the warmth and comfort of home. i bet the unfortunate tourists who were there felt so cheated. like "sunny my arse!" cheated.
we saw the cutest dog at vivo. it looked like a lamb or sheep actually. because i wasnt wearing glasses i kept wondering how come the dog has black feet when its coat is entirely brown until they pointed out to me it was wearing shoes. i still went "eh! the feet is black colour one leh!".
rain, rain go away come again another day. i dont give a damn when but just not when we wanna go sentosa ok. it doesnt fit the tune but whateverrrrr.
here's a pic of Terri and me at vivo last friday.
